Sr. Content Marketing Manager - Windfall

As the Senior Manager of Content Marketing it was my job to oversee and manage all things “content” for Windfall. From the top down, I created and managed the content calendar, which includes social media content on multiple platforms, pre and post-event marketing outreach, sponsorship content including collaborated webinars, blogs, messaging and promotional materials, marketing and sales collateral from solution overviews/1-pagers to robust eBooks and case studies, customer testimonial videos and more. I established and executed a robust and highly targeted newsletter program that includes partners, customers, and prospects broken down by industry.

I was the main point of contact for complete website redesign and re-platform from Wordpress to Hubspot (see windfall.com). This involved external agencies as well as major internal and personal effort. In the process I developed a mastery of Hubspot website management and marketing tools including emails, automation, dashboards and more. I strategized and implemented a series of robust nurture/drip campaigns which include inbound demo/contact request, asset downloads and views, and various forms fills.

My formal job description:

  • Amplify Windfall’s voice in the market through a holistic content strategy
  • Own the voice and copywriting of marketing email communications, landing pages, and other content to support marketing campaigns.
  • Write all emails required for Hubspot nurture and drip campaigns; ensure campaigns are targeted to the right audiences.
  • Manage segmented email lists in Hubspot, including Increasing the size and health of email marketing lists through campaigns that encourage opt-ins and periodic list cleanses.
  • Own and manage the social media calendar; grow organic engagement in these channels.
  • Manage Hubspot workflows.
  • Manage creative that lives within marketing automation campaigns (e.g., logo files, website graphics, etc.).
  • Opportunistically assist with video and other creative assets using design tools.
  • Manage the non-paid promotion of content across social and email channels.
  • Build and grow a robust newsletter program for various audiences.
  • Manage the Windfall blog and blog calendar, including authoring posts ideated by the many thought leaders throughout the company.
  • Write whitepapers and ebooks for nonprofit and commercial audiences, in partnership with PMM.
  • Translate written content that lives in one form factor (e.g., a webinar) into multiple form factors (e.g., infographics. Interactive website content, videos, etc.).
